Finally!

This weekend has been wonderful beyond words :) We have been celebrating the Lunar New Year since Thursday and it's finally settling down a bit now. Time to rest the bloated tummy too, from all the yummy food that we only really get to relentlessly devour once a year!

Another wonderful thing that has happened over this weekend is that I am finally able to share this video with the world. We were on a secret mission since the beginning of 2014, but now the cat is finally allowed out of the bag! You must be thinking WHAT??? ...  Huge huge conspiracy I can tell ya ... so, are you ready? It is ...
The project that I will be teaching at the Artful Gathering Online Art Retreat this summer!! YAY!!!
LOL ... Gotcha!!!

Jokes aside, I am genuinely excited to be presenting this video about myself and my chosen workshop for the Artful Gathering 2014 Art Retreat :) Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it :)

For more information on this and the other projects for the 2014 summer art retreat, please go to
Hope to see you all there and let's have some fun together!

  6. Luthien you are GORGEOUS....and so is your work. I was delighted to see where lots of your textures come from, and your workspace. You ,must be very disciplined to keep it so tidy. Thank you for showing me.

  10. Well, I guess should have watched the video before I commented, because I'm back. What a delight to see your charming face, hear your voice, and see your world! Your book, Promise, still sits on my desk. I love it, as well as Ancient West, that you made especially for me. I loved seeing where you created them, and I look forward to your workshop in the spring!

  11. Hello, Luthien
Your creativity is glorious! I love everything you do, and I also enjoy reading 'The Lord of the Rings', 'Harry Potter', the Twilight series, and also the Eragon's series too, which I am reading the Eragon series over again at this moment in time....anything for that Gothic/Eternal muse to be inspired. I will have to get acquainted with the David Eddings series too. I am always looking for adventures which take me out of the world.
I took a workshop in 'Artful Gathering' last summer and I hope to positively sign up for your workshop this year and I am passing the word around too that you are offering a workshop this year.
May you have a blessed week!
Peace to you in all you do.
